Calvin Abueva Will Not Be Able To Join Gilas

After few days of waiting, Philippine Basketball national team coach Chot Reyes has confirmed that the Alaska Aces precious rookie Calvin Abueva will not be able to join Gilas Pilipinas.

Chot Reyes confirmed it via his account in a micro blogging site twitter. Today, May 24, 2013 Reyes tweeted, "@coachchot: Just got word fr Alaska mgt that Calvin can't join Gilas."

According to previous report, Abueva has been nursing a knee injury even during the finals series against the crowd favorite Barangay Ginebra SanMiguel.
