Rumors are now circulating online that Tim Cone's protege, Jeff Cariaso has been offered a job as Barangay Ginebra San Miguel's next head coach days after Ginebra suffered an early exit on the ongoing PBA 2014 Commissioners Cup.
Rumors say that an offer was made to Cariaso last Wednesday and that the negotiations is now rolling.
According to the source: "Nag-usap na sila kahapon. Negosasyon pa lang 'yan, pero mukhang siya talaga ang ina-eye, Sa ngayon, wala pang formal deal kasi nag-uusap pa sa kontrata and all."
As of the moment no words from Cariaso or SMC camp has confirmed nor denied the rumor.
